Why we are not having Face-to-Face Services or Gatherings at this time
We take seriously the health of the church membership. We also recognize that Jesus rightly reminds us that we worship God firstly in Spirit and in Truth rather than in buildings or the formalities of great, wonderful tradition.
We are thrilled to find creative ways to continue our worship and spiritual growth together while being healthy and well.
We also are committed to the goal to prevent the overwhelming of healthcare provision, which we have seen happen in various places across the globe. We do not want our hospitals and care facilities to be overpowered by a massive influx of people. Mt. Zion agrees to efforts toward the reduction of crowd density and maximization social distance.
Officials have admitted that the re-opening plans are plans for economic relief, which does not mean that the virus has changed. Next to worship, prayer, and sound mindedness, social distancing is still one of our greatest weapons against the spread of the virus.
If we each do our part, we can have a major impact in the ceasing of this devastating disease.
The church campus is closed to everyone except critical staff to take care of administrative needs.
Other requests for building access will be considered on a case by case basis; however, the overwhelming majority of requests will be denied at this time as access prompts multiple procedural adaptations.
Thank you for helping us in this effort to create a place of Worship that is safe, healthy, and worshipful unto Our Father in Heaven. It is ever our mission to be a Spring of Life: a house of prayer and a place of preaching and teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen (Ephesians 3:20-21)
