Pastor McElroy is a Texas native who accepted Christ at an early age in San Antonio, Texas. He was baptized by the late Pastor Claude Black at the Mt. Zion First Baptist Church of San Antonio. He is a graduate of Morehouse College, Atlanta GA and the University of Texas, Austin. His most cherished, God-given accomplishment is his marriage to Darline Amos (below) and birth of their four children.

Pastor McElroy accepted the calling to preach while at Good Street Baptist Church, Dallas TX under the leadership of the late Pastor C. A. W. Clark. FamilyHe speaks at a variety of venues in the public and religious sectors. He has been a professional educator and educational leader for several years.

His philosophy of ministry has depth but remains simple: the Essence of Ministry is Compassion; the Nature of Ministry is Relevance; the Foundation of Ministry is the Word of God; the Goal of Ministry is Reconciliation.

Pastoral Vision: "He will feed His flock like a shepherd; he will gather the lambs with His arm, and carry them in His bosom, and gently lead those who are with young" Isa 40:11.

Rev. William L. ColeRev. William L. Cole FB

The last of seven children of the late Rev. Robert V. Cole, Pastor of the Ledbetter Baptist Church; Dallas, TX. Rev. W. L. Cole announced his calling to the Ministry at the Munger Ave. Baptist Church; Dallas, TX.

He has an Associate’s Degree and Bachelor of Arts from Dallas Baptist University with further ministerial studies at D. Edwin Johnson Institute and Dallas Theological Seminary. Rev. Cole is married with 4 boys and 8 grand-children.

“I believe in Heb. 11:1 - Now FAITH is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Believing that, then you should walk by FAITH and not by sight.” 

Rev. Gary A. Davis

Rev. Davis has a reverence for the Gospel and drawing power of Christ's calling. He is a preacher who stays open to the prompting and move of the Holy Spirit.

Rev. Davis believes in the essentiality of the Bible as the authority of God's Word. He maintains a zeal for ministry and hope that all will experience the deliverance found in God the Father through Jesus the Son.

"But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed." Isaiah 53:5

Rev. Bradshaw is a husband and father of two. He has a long standing love for the gospel, the ministry of music, people, and the preached Word of God.

Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me." Philippians 3:12 

Rev. Vicki Johnson FB

Rev. Vicki Johnson has a Bachelor’s Degree from Lamar University. She has been a Christian since her youth and has served in various positions within Baptist & Holiness churches. In addition to ministry, her career path has included being a social worker, Teen Pregnancy Initiative Mentor, Parole Officer, Life Skills Facilitator, and more.

Vicki Johnson was ordained as a Minister in 2000 while serving the Deliverance Revival Tabernacle Holiness Church under Bishop Elton Jones, Sr. At Mt. Zion, she currently leads the Youth Department. Most importantly, she is a mother to three wonderful children.

Minister Johnson loves to mentor young people and Women in Recovery.

Rev. Darline J. McElroy FB

Rev. D. McElroy accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior at an early age, and she has been diligent to pursue Him since. She holds double Master's Degrees in Counseling and continues to have a passion for academic pursuits - particularly in Biblical studies.

Every-willing to serve, she is grateful for her Mt. Zion family. Willing to preach and teach, she is grateful to God for her calling into the preaching ministry.

"Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." 2 Timothy 2:15
Rev. C. RolfeRev. C. Rolfe FB

Rev. Rolfe is a devoted family man - husband and father of three daughters. He has completed coursework in Biblical Studies, but his love for the Word of God is his strongest credential.

Rev. Rolfe is a dynamic preacher who believes in the transforming power of the good news of Jesus Christ.
